care instructions - hemp/cotton blend

DIDYMOS baby slings are manufactured without any textile glaze or other chemical ingredients. We only use organic cotton (controlled biological cultivation), absolutely metal free, skin friendly dyes. There is no need to wash your sling before using it unless you want the sling fabric to be softer right from the start. Baby slings made of linen or hemp are a little stiff coming off the weaving frame, however they soften quickly when being used. You can speed up the process by pulling your sling through warm water and letting it air-dry before using it for the first time. Please observe the following instructions:
	Washing temperature up to 90°C/190°F (hot) Never use bleaching agents Never use washing powder (liquid detergent only) Use water softener if your water is hard Tumble dry on gentle low. Avoid high temperatures, especially in the dryer
Any detergent residue or mineral accumulations reduces extremely the stretchability of this fabric. We recommend to iron your DIDYMOS sling after every wash. This prevents the fabric from folding at the same place every time, which might decrease the lasting durability of your sling.
